Anyone who has ever been to a modern conference is aware that attendees are often swamped with “swag”, an acronym for “Stuff We All Get”. At a show as large and highly influential as the Consumer Electronics Show, attendees are often presented with pens, shirts, keyrings, mints and a multitude of other items.
To entertain the curiosity of some colleagues, I open the following contest to all exhibitors at the 2011 CES:
Contact me through the comments section of this post if you believe that you have a particularly outstanding example of SWAG. Anything is open to consideration and I will visit the booth to collect a sample and make a selection on the final day of the conference. The “winner” of the contest will be featured in a post, showcasing both the ingenious marketing and the product or service that it represented.
