The upcoming Apple event (on Wednesday, March 7th if you have been living under a rock) is nearly certainly featuring the announcement of the iPad3. If the speculation is true, we can expect to see an improved camera in a slightly thicker body with a retina display and an available LTE radio.

Apple’s Tim Cook made a dramatic show of strength during the first major keynote since the death of former CEO Steve Jobs, publicly showing that the company can and will continue its culture of design and innovation. Announcing the expected next generation iPad and praising the enhanced harmony between iOS devices and the upcoming OS X “Mountain Lion” (due in late summer), Cook drew huge applause at the Yerba Buena Center when he stopped and added “but there’s one more thing”. Announcing the development of the evolution of the Macbook Air would include a multi-touch enabled screen – truly bridging the narrowing gap between the tablet and the notebook.
Absolutely a fantasy (unless it isn’t), but one I would love to see.
