MagSafe Redesign Shouldn’t be Overlooked

Apple updated the standard power connection for laptops to the MagSafe 2. The introduction of a new proprietary connector is interesting, as rumors surrounding the next generation iPhone describe an updated, thinner 30-pin connector that will leave many 3rd party products out in the cold.
